The login screen : Here you type your user name and password, (remember passwords are case sensitive).
Then click the login button or hit enter, this will log you in to the Action Images Main Archive and display the various folders you have access to.
If you do not have a login, login as guest by clicking the "login as guest" button and browse through and evaluate our site.

Folder Selection: Now that you are logged into the system, you will be presented with folders, that you have been allocated access to.
You will be able to perform searches and downloads within these folders, the default folder presented to you will be Action Images Archive.
You now need to select your folder that you will be using for searches etc, by clicking on it, it will highlight yellow.
This folder is now selected.

Searches : For a general search, type in your search word, click on the arrow (next to search word box) or press enter and this searches all fields,
example “action” this brings back 2000 images (Being the maximum number of images displayed) with either the keyword or caption containing action.
Example of search :
Refined Search within current selection: Here you would type your word or keyword and hit the arrow
(shown below in the example) to search within your current selection. Example “accreditation” returns 13 images out of the 2000 within the “action” search.
And here you can further refine your search within that selection but entering you third word and hitting the last arrow.

Boolean searches: To further advance or refine your search you can use Booleans “and” , “or” and “and not”, which all work.
The only restriction to the searches is how many times you use them, not more than twice, example “avaya and not Belgium” works,
a search was done with “avaya and not Belgium and not Spain” which worked, so it also depends on the number of images being searched,
it is safe to say 2 work.
Example of search with Booleans :
Field search: To search within fields, for example just on keywords etc. select the search tab this will search within the current folder.

Within Field Search: Here you can specify in which field to search (All text, Categories, keywords, filename), by date before or after and by the time span, last hour/week/month etc.

Selecting images for download: To select an image for download, tick the white box at the bottom of the image, this will add it
to your basket, which can be viewed by clicking the order button at the top of the page.

Order page: Here all your selected images will appear, (1) here you can select the image for download by right clicking,
save target as :
(2) Here you can select how the pictures should be displayed on the current page, listed or mosaic.
(3) Here you can refresh your selection if all images don't appear.
(4) Here this takes you back to the main page.

All or None Tabs: The all or none tabs at the top of the main page once logged in are to select all images within a folder
or to deselect all images currently selected.
